Splashback Styles

Glass splashbacks can look fabulous in your kitchen & while not suited to every style, can look modern and sleek. Include an added dimension by using a metallic finish or a different type of patterned glass if you choose to make an impact. Always make sure when ordering that the glass is fully toughened for safety.

Two different types of glass are available: ‘Clear’ or ‘float’ glass has a pale green tinge, so keep in mind, whatever colour is painted on it, will be distorted by this colour. ‘Starphire’ has no colour, so your colour of choice will be a true reflection of what is painted on the back.

The glass can be painted in the same hues or tones already selected for walls and ceilings, adding elegance to a neutral palette or perhaps you want to add a splash of colour & use a ‘burnt orange’ or ‘vivid red’ to add some excitement. Whatever you choose will look fantastic and be a breeze to clean, just spray and wipe!

Glass is reflective, so in a home with lots of light you will see reflections all the time, so keep this in mind when you’re selecting. Another option is a Mirror splashback. These look great when you are lucky enough to enjoy a view of the ocean, valley or a beautiful garden and will bring a little of the outdoors in!
